Ladue and Vianney played a physical, hard-fought game, and Ladue’s defense rose to the occasion.
The Rams had an answer for a Vianney offense that had been one of the most dynamic in St. Louis so far this season. Vianney’s offense struggled in the first half, only scoring seven in the first series of the game, and then failed to get momentum.
However, the Golden Griffins found life in the second half. A few scores in the third and fourth made a comeback seem plausible. But time wasn’t on their side.
